No potluck dishes necessary when we're at Sandaga. Food and drinks will be provided at a nominal fee. But you still must bring your own towel and hair product if you want to get your hair "did!"
If you want to host a Hair Day event at your venue, locally or nationally. Give us the date, time, location and we’ll spread the word!
Include date, time, location, contact phone number and email address. Unless otherwise noted Hair Day gatherings are open to women, men and 'village-trained' children of all hair textures. If the gathering is held in private homes, the host determines whether it is co-ed or children are allowed.

January 5 - Hairlelujah Hair Day and Mosetta's 'naptism'.
February 13 - (Wed.) Hair Day Read-In & Open Mic. 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. (different location - MLKing Library. See below for details)
March 1 - Tribute to Bob Marley. The music of this natty dreaded reggae musician will be the backdrop of this nap nurturing session and "A.P." our local Marley look-a-like who does a great impersonation, says he might come through and rock us for a few!
May 3 – Anniversary Hair Day POSTPONED. New date TBA.
Spring/Summer dates: TBA. Check back for update.
September 6 - Kids Hair Day. Bring your "village trained" children out to get their hair did and to take part in doing the hair of others! This is their chance to see that "it's all good!"
November 1 - Hair Day and Open Mic. Share your creativity!
